THIS UNCHARTED HOUR WINS AWARD this uncharted hour by Finegan Kruckemeyer, was among the winners announced at the 2006 Festival Awards for Literature during a ceremony held on the opening day of Adelaide Writers' Week. Presented by SA Premier the Hon. Mike Rann, the script for this uncharted hour received the Jill Blewett Playwrights' Award. Commissioned and developed by Brink Productions in association with The Firm in 2005, this uncharted hour will go into full production in 2007. this uncharted hour tells the story of a thirty year old man who, while driving to meet friends, hits a dog, killing it instantly. Over the following hour a series of innocent events steer him unexpectedly to the house where he grew up, long since abandoned. As he moves from room to room releasing the memories and ghosts of the lives lived within its walls he finds himself confronting a long held family secret.
